Citrus dominated IPA with a slight astringency in the first sip that warns you of whats about to come and an enduring bitter finish (IBUs 65). Back end taste and aromas of tropical fruits from the New Zealand Kohatu hops with Dana hops giving the sensation of being smacked in the mouth with a jar of marmalade. kinda like Bob Dylan on acid.
Malt: Maris Otter Pale, Crystal Malt & Bamberg Cara Aroma
Hops: Bravo, Cascade, Dana & Kohatu

17.10.2014, Cask 1 pint, Spyglass & Kettle, Bournemouth, England, UK. Bursztynowe piwo o puszystej pianie i słodowym, lekko owocowym aromacie. W smaku początkowo słodowe, lekko owocowe, z wyrazistą chmielową goryczką na finiszu.

Pint from cask at The Castle Hotel, Manchester, 07.05.15. Clear golden. Dense and persistent head. Strong aroma of lemon and lime marmelade. And Sevilla marmelade. Similar taste, combined with tropical fruits and considerable grapefruit bitterness in lingering aftertaste. Also a hint of malt and biscuits in taste. Round mouthfeel. Considerable quaffability.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2012 Cask @ "The Wharf", Denmark. Brilliant clear with a white head. The nose is dominated by british hops and a hint of caramel maltyness. Colour is copper to dark amber. Flavor is a strong almost american pale ale hoppyness with a dry finish. Malt is hardly present. Mouthfeel is light to medium. Very drinkerble pint.

Cask; gold, clear, thin white head; tropical fruit aroma; tastes smooth, some soft citrus - lemon, lime; moderate bitterness; prickly hops; this was a grower: a third of a pint in and Id written it off as one-dimensional with a challenging hoppiness, but it opened out into something supple, mellifluous and moreish; more good, interesting stuff from an ever dependable brewery.

Cask-conditioned at the Dorset & Wiltshire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/1/2013. Orange with a slight, off-white head. Big, citrus fruit, pine and bready malt aroma. Flavour was sweet, with some caramel, marmalade, strawberries and pine, ending with a lingering, dry finish. Very good.

Draught @ BA Folkis. Not the fruitiest of IPAs nor the sweetest and not even very bitter. Some unusual hop notes here... white grapes, melon, red orange. Crisp. A bit dry. Medium, short lasting, bitterness.

Cask conditioned handpump Market Porter London 11/09/13. A copper coloured beer with a white bubbly head. A very nice beer with good citrus and tropiacl fruit hoppiness throughout. The malts do edge towards sweetness which is a bit of a shame. But its still well constructed and tasty. Very enjoyable.
