On tap at the brewery taproom.
Look:opaque, near black body with ruby highlights. body with an excellent off-white head that leaves temporary coatings of lacing on the glass.
Pleasing aroma suggests a generous load of a mix of malts.
Flavor: rich flavor that’s very good but not up with the enticing aroma. Negligible burnt elements but plenty of dark roasted grain flavors with hints of coffee and chocolate.

Medium-full, smooth body with near medium carbonation.

This near black ale is mellow, but still features nice dark roasted malts, sweet coffee, chocolate and dark fruit, with a smidge of hops and a dry sweet finish.
