Aroma of sweet corn, followed by a slight hoppy aroma.
Poured from 500ml can.(brewed in china under liscense) Pours a pale straw colour with decent carbonation.
Tastes of sweet corn, rice and banana with a slight bitterness and a few skunky off notes.
Overall- Quite bland, and has many skunky flavours, however i still enjoyed drinking it and at the price point it is one i’d try again.
500ml can into glass. Can says brewed in China. Sweet nose, not bad. Pale yellow with big billowing head. Neutral taste, not a lot going on. Aftertaste is chemical and something (egg? Rusty nails? Custard?) johnnyoneeye (1) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 22, 2014 does not count
This beer doesn’t pretend to be anything it ain’t; for a thirst quencher on a warm day this beer does the job capably. It’s not a complex beer, it has almost nothing to make it stand out from other mass-produced lagers ... except its price at the moment. Big can, cheap price, passable quenching qualities. Better than I expected, bought because was cheap at local, but had a nice sweet hoppy aroma and taste which soon disappeared after the first few mouthfuls then just the bland dry lager experience after that but is what it is. Muggus69 (2435) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - AUG 15, 2014
Wasn’t expecting much, and received even less...
Pale gold with soapy foam.
Aroma quite skunky, carboardy, somewhat oxidised malt character, which is odd considering it’s in a can.
Coarse carbonation, dry, light, somewhat watery, odd texture.
Those cardboardy malts continue on the body. Skunky, soapy, metallic finish with a low bitterness, drying lingering finish that’s rather unpleasant, especially as it warms.
Make this mistake once. BigAkmed (1) - - APR 25, 2014 does not count
I should have known better, all the alarm bells were ringing. $11AUD for 4x500ml, ridiculous labeling. I bought it anyway. Appearance: pale straw, lots of fizz. Taste: First sip took me back to that first home brew batch you lovely make with your new Coopers home brew kit. The one that’s minimal malt and maximum suger. Looks like beer, tastes like an experiment. If you like TsingTao then this could be right up your alley. For the rest of us, avoid.

Clean taste - not much flavour so in keeping with large commercially brewed lager - drank when thirsty so yeah, quite a good thirst quencher but was looking for something with flavour after a glass of it. Brusselssprouts (1) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 13, 2013 does not count
Light on taste. Light on colour and aroma. A dense, compact fizz and a dense short head with minimal lacing. Has a strange taste, similar to Tiger beer, but a lot lighter, and a little bit funky. For its price range it is a nice beer.
5%abv, 4x 500ml cans.
Excellent sesional/boozer beer for its price range.
Its non offensive, a good serving size and has a nice alcohol content. BDD89 (12) - young, AUSTRALIA - JUL 9, 2013
Very bland beer. Little to no aroma. Cleaner taste than most dry beers. Very innoffensive beer that is well priced if you are on a budget. Would prefer it over the likes of carlton dry and Tooheys extra dry. Unm4rk3d (87) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - APR 16, 2013
Well definitely more drinkable then the aussie commercial beers. Has a light sweetness to it, with to much fizz. Bif (2235) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAR 7, 2013
500ml can. Pours a light straw color with a big fizzy head that fades quickly to traces of lacing. Aroma is very mild with a bit of malt sweetness and bit of grain. Taste continues with a bit of malt sweetness and not much more. Just a bit of bitterness and a very dry finish. Light body, smooth and quite bland. not much here unless you are into dry lagers.
