From a can bought at a 7-11, poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

For a conbini beer this is an unusual treat. Quite different from the standard fare, hoppy, floral, grass. Perfect for summer.

w zapachu słody i wyraźne nuty chmielowe - zioła, trawa, lekkie słodkie estry, trochę przypominające banana i gumę balonową. całość sprawia dość orzeźwiające i lekkie wrażenie. kolor złoty, przejrzysty, piana średnio obfita i krótkotrwała. w smaku pełne, wyraźnie słodowe, lekko biszkoptowe, dość słodkie. goryczka niewielka, ale jednak wyczuwalna, ziołowa w charakterze. pozostawia lekko drożdżowy posmak w ustach. mimo sporej słodowości dość pijalne i odświeżające.

Can from Lawson, 230 yen or so. 5% Clear light gold big head of foam. Light malts with an interesting floral nose with light citrus. The flavor is pretty interesting light pils malts, crackery with some grassy, floral/herbal and citrus zest in the finish.Wasn’t expecting much but it was pretty good a nice surprise however the body is a touch too light and watery. Overall, refreshing. I liked this more than the Ebisu Royal Selection, this is more my cup of tea.

cereal, citrus, golden, clear, frothy, light sweetness, light body, lively. Typical Malt’s aroma with a hint of lemon. Crisp on the lips, very lightly sweet. Perfect amount of carbonation, abrupt finish that leaves you wanting another drink. I’m a diehard Malt’s fan, so I’m admittedly biased, but I love this and it’s the perfect summer brew IMO.

biirusaikou (2705) - - JUL 18, 2014
Floral hops, touch of lemon. Fairly mild but refreshing with half-decent maltiness and hints of floral hops. Nothing to be excited about but probably ok for a summer picnic.

Quite liked this. First swig was very uninspired macro tasting, but then the hops became a bit more assertive. Very summer and thirst quenching. Well done by probably my favourite of the big 4.

maekchu (3847) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUL 17, 2014
Can from convenience store. Light lemony nose, with just a small hint of sewer. Dark ripe straw color. Mild sweetish maltiness, very tiny hop presence, with a little citrus, and a tingling tongue raspiness in finish. Thin body. Nice enough. Doesn’t stand out in any way. Drinkable.

TBone (17440) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2014
Can (Tokyo). Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma has light fruityness. Not much more. Light-bodied. Soft with green apple and low bitterness. Almost white wineous pale lager.

GenkiGonzo (1092) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 16, 2014
Can from konbini. Surprisingly fresh citrus aroma. Flavour is very lemony, not enough hops so tastes fairly sweet. Refreshing enough for the summer.
