Bottle to plain glass Our first beer on our Japanese tour. Not very excited about this one, but after 24 hours of traveling, I'll do my best. It's accompanying some sushi, so I won't complain too much. Aroma of grains and hay and horse piss. Bright clear amber with no discern able head. The taste is disgusting; I don't have the words right now.

Faint malty aroma. Ok malty taste without unpleasant flavors. Simple and somewhat elegant. Easy to drink.

A microbrew wannabe. But not necessarily a bad thing. One of my favorites to grab from Family Mart in Taiwan when I can't get to a proper beer. A noticeable amount of hops is put in there for a large brewery. A lot better than the rest of the crap found in convenience stores here. But maybe I've lived here too long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Clear golden, good amount of white head. Aroma: Floral, some hops and malt. Taste: More floral, herbs? And of course malt and hops. Standard. Info: 334ml bottle, 10/6-2013

Another bland Japanese lager, available everywhere on draft and often the 200-300 yen beer as nama. Pours a pale fizzy yellow with a white head. Cold no aroma & not much flavor. As it warms up some grass, hay, grain notes show up but be sure to finish the glass before it gets too warm or itíll be pretty bad. Drinkable but only just.

looks between yellow and golden with minimal head. smells slightly of noble hops, clean, light malt. taste is a very clean, light maltiness and honey taste but generally balanced towards neutrality/slight bitterness. some herbal, spicy hops. itís got a nice full body. faultless and a good beer, too bad they charge way too much for it

Pours gold. Foaming with head. Aroma of straw, and bitter malts. Taste has a good bite, sweet grainy flavor and good bitterness. The sweet grassiness and a bit of alcohol are no bueno, nor is the gummy sweet finnish. This beers only saving grace is its bitterness.

Clear golden coloured beer with small white head and new carbonation. Malty herby aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malty bitter.
