COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Coyet Ale jatkaa Suomenlinnassa harjoitettua pintahiivaoluiden traditiota. Tämä 4,5 % alk.vol. täysmallasolut (pilsner-, ale- ja karamellimallas) on vahvasti humaloitu. Sen tunnistaa kuparinpunaisesta väristä ja kermaisesta vaahdostaan. Oluessa maistaa rehevän maltaisuuden lisäksi vahvan humalan aromin Coyet Ale on saanut nimensä kuulun soturin Henrik Gideon Coyetin mukaan (1725-1774). Hän vietti elämänsä viimeiset vuodet Suomenlinnan linnoitustyömaalla ja linnoituksen päällikkö Ehrensvärd nimesi osan uljaasta linnoituksesta hänen mukaansa. Coyetin aikakaudella kaikki oluet olivat pintahiivaoluita, aleja.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, english ale. Taste is bitter, slightly burnt, sweet malts, hay.

Tap @ Oak Barrel. Crystal clear golden with pure white head. Mild nose of grass and herbs with malt. Bitter with herbs and basic bitter malt body. Sticky with a medium body and bitter finish. A strong basic bitter.

Kuparinruskea, hieman punertava kirkas olut pienellä, hieman pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu mieto, yrttistä humalointia ja hieman karamellia. Maku hieman karamellisen maltainen, loppupuoleltaa toisaalta hieman humalan katkeroittama, mutta samalla myös turhan vetinen. Aika kevyt suutuntuma.

Bottle from market. Pours copper color with small slightly tan head. Aroma and taste have caramel, bisquits, floral, grass and hops. Bitterness is very nice and this beer is very smooth.

(Draught at Oak Barrel, Helsinki Airport, 28 April 2016) Golden amber colour with creamy, white head. Malty nose with toast, apricots and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of toast, apricots and a balanced resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.
