TBone (16241) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Deep clear amber color, small white head, lace. Nutty malty aroma with hints of caramel. Medium-bodied. Caramel, rye bread, some yeasty notes. Has nice craft brew feeling. One of the best Suomenlinna brews I’ve had. Solid.

Ernest (7431) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle (at Suomenlinnan). Head is fully lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie, nuts), moderately hoppy (apricot, flowers), with notes of toffee and marmalade. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Exceptionally delightful and almost impossible to stop drinking. Perhaps my favorite of all of their beers (that I tried, of course)...very clean, well-balanced, and enticing. Rich, succulent malt.

Bottle from trade with rosenbergh, kiitos Jan. Well, this beer looks really ugly. Muddy brown color with medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, honey, citrus, caramel. Taste, sweet malt, honey, nuts, citrus, herbal hops. Good.

Clear orange beer with some head. The description talks about a tropically fruity ale, but to me this is like a vegetable-flavored lager.

3fourths (9207) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle at Suomenlinnan Panimo.
Chestnut brown body with a medium-sized off-white head. Lots of bread crust, some cramel syrup, slightly grainy / raw smelling early on, turning more towards juicy orange and pine resin. Clean profile. Low sweetness, good acid, lingering malt syrup coating in the finish with bran and cereal grain and a small touch of burnt caramel syrup. Still a minor complaint. Again we have good body, no off-notes, very fresh tasting, all flavors expressive but balanced. Yeehaw!
