Many thanks to Finn for sharing a 250ml bottle. Pours a frothy white head that stayed well. Not much lacing. Clear golden body. Dry fruity aroma with honey sweetness. Taste of dried fruits, yeast, spices and caramel malts, supported by warming alcohol on the swallow. Mouthfilling (at Finns place in Tromsø 03.12.2013).

UPDATED: APR 18, 2015 Bottle at Cafe Leffe, best before 03.01.15. Pours a nice copper, gold color with a big, foamy white head. Soft aroma of caramel and yeast. Flavor has a touch of caramel sweetness but finishes fairly dry. Nice and easy drinking. Really cool glass if you can find it. The bells at Dinant’s church rang the entire time I drank this.

Goudblonde kleur, veel kraag bij het inschenken. Ruikt zoetfruitig, smaakt granig, weinig bitter te bekennen. Wat zoete nasmaak.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and some floral fruitiness, light spiciness (coriander, light licorice). Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and some floral fruitiness, light spiciness. Finish is average, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light fuitiness, light spiciness. OK Belgian ale, not too sweet/too much caramel.
