Bottle from Bierzwerg webshop. Hazy dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, honey, nuts, biscuits. Taste, apples, malt, honey, roasted malt, walnuts. Bittersweet finish. Alcohol is well present. Good.

750 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Clear darkish brown colour with small off-white head. Dark malt, some sweet caramel, bread, dark fruits and fresh sweet fruitiness in aroma. Flavour: Quite nice balance between sweetish caramel, darkish malt and mild fruity bitterness.

250 ml bottle picked up in Belguim and taked back to Germany. Pours a dark ruby brown color with a soft thick tan head. A nice looking beer that goes down hill fast after that. Aroma is sweet candy, malt and caramel. Taste is burnt cough syrup, malt and wood. Palate is mild but offensive. Not enjoyable for me. Borders on something for an Ex-wife.

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a clear dark brown liquid with a pale brown head. Fairly mild smell with some caramell malts. Similar taste but with a strong metallic flavour. Slightly harsh mouthfeel with a high amount of carbonation. Unfortunately the metal ruins this beer for me.

Bottle @ benzai, thanks thompson for sharing. Nice brown colour, but the head is quickly gone. Smells sweet, caramel and hay. Tastes sweet (in a good way this time), fresh and crispy. Bit watery though. Fizzy carbo, full body.

75cl Bottle @ home, shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Thanks Thompson for sharing. Nice dark amber color, white head. Smells malty, sweet, hints of bitter. Taste some bitterness, malts, some sweetness and caramel. Nice carbo, medium body.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong light brown head. The aroma is malty, and the flavour is roasted, yeasty, gently malty - port like, and mildly bitter with a warming feel at the finish. Overall a pretty decent strongly malty and roasted beer.

Pours mahogany brown with a medium sized head. Caramel malt and toffee aroma with a heavy spice background, vanilla and wood. Rounded flavour of caramel, spice, toffee. Nice body, slightly chewy texture.
