fonefan (49323) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2007
Draught @ 9th Belgian Beer Weekend, Brussels. Unclear medium to dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate malty, roasted, licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010907)

yespr (45447) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 11, 2008
25 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy brown with a fully diminished off-white head. Spiced aroma. Flavour following this with a dry to acidic malt base. Ginger - sadly. Ends slight sweet and yeasty with a light acidic touch from the ginger.

Ungstrup (37585) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2003
An unclear orange-brown beer with a great head. The aroma is stong, sweet, alcoholic with notes of anise, orange and other spices. The flavor is boring after the powerful aroma, it is slightly smoked, with a good maltblend and extremely sweet with very little hops to balance it off - though it has a dryness of wood and moss.

joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2006
Bottle. Clear orange red coloured with a beige head. Sweet aroma of malts, fruits and citrus. Spicy flavour of malts, fruits and citrus.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2005
Bottled. Ruby/amber coloured, brown foamy head. Aroma of fruit, berries and a sting of alcohol. Flavour contains raisins, nuts, malts and hops. Some licorace too. Wellbalanced. A bit alcoholy sweetness in finish and aftertaste.

omhper (25119) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2007 Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, near no head. Aroma of mixed fruits and roasty malt. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel and almost full body. Slightly syrupy with notes of nuts, in all a too straightforward ale.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Dark, reddish brown with a tall, pretty head. Appears filtered whic is rather unusual. Very aromatic and spicy. Mainly dry with a weak underlying malty sweetness. Slightly perfumy - coriander? - with a discreet, bitter finish. Very harmonious beer. 090702

2011-01-29, corked bottle, bb 04 10 02, vintage 2001, 9 years old, 6-5-7-3-13=34
Dark color; creamy head. A good malt and chocolate beer, with low bitterness, and light signs of oxidisation. Quite good still.

2002-06-16, 9-5-7-3-15=39
Deep amber colour, generous and thick head, misty, turbulent perlage. Wonderful aroma, fresh, malty, porto wine notes, analogies with a barley wine aroma. Good malty body, less strong that the strength may suggest, good balance and good palate, not too much aromatic.

harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2009
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Deep ruby, thin darkish beige head. Some decent jammy darkish fruit on aroma. It’s a fruity dubbel. Some decent fruit, some dryish malt coming in on the end. A little bit of sourness, but mostly a fruity dubbel

saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2010
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, dark fruits, nuts and caramel.
