473ml from trade with Sergiy, Aroma: resinous hops, grassy, melon, citrus. App: Clear golden, small to medium white head leaving nice lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, resinous, fruity with light bitter finish. Overrall: Not bad. Not really what I'm not looking for an IPA these days. Feels a bit too west coast and old school for my tastes but it's sure well made for the style. Good.

Smells amazing, doesn't taste quite as good. The pour is super hazy, cloudy and bright orange with a thin off white head. The nose is bright, zesty, citrus and tropical fruits abound with a light candied sweetness. So much pineapple, papaya, passionfruit, grapefruit. Damn. No bitterness on the finish and a slight metallic and floral astringent note. Sometimes I don't get this style of beer.

On tap at Darby’s Gastown in Vancouver. A translucent amber beer with generous white head and a sharp citrus fruity nose. Yessir, this is classic West Coast IPA! Big citrus fruit and hop bitterness up front with substantial malt background. I’m lovin’ it! 4.1

Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 29, 2017
473 ml can. Clear orange yellow, off-white foam fades to a skim. Juicy citric forest fruity hop aroma and taste, tropical fruit, slightly sweet, barely bitter, lean grainy malt. Softer carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. Very nice. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Can. Hazy/cloudy gold pour with white head. Aroma is hoppy, lightly dank, grassy, some cat pee, citrusy. Taste is grassy, juicy, bitter, a bit sweet. Palate is med bodied, light carbonation. I found the hoppiness duller than in the other cans I have had, but that might’ve just been freshness.

can from tha boyz, thanks! pours unclear golden with a small creamy white cap offering good retention and lacing. almost buttery mangoes, very ripened melons, underlying fruity yet peppery rye-like cereals, hint of sweetness - melon-flavoured candies, diesel, candied garlic, fruity yeast. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; smooth and balanced tropical-melon-grapefruity finish. über-wet-and-dank - very nice stuff.

My Bottom Line:
Tropical fruit candy and citrus fruit move into growing grass in this otherwise doughy IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A healthy head of foam covers the misty golden.
-Mouthfeel is cushy and natural (nothing feels forced).
-Drinkability is optimal.
-Hop flavors are a tad muted in the flavour profile (not as bright as I would like them to be).

Can. Thx Josh and Sunshine!

Canned, thanks Sunshine! Hazy golden, huge lively head. Peppery pear and mango aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Saccharine and white pepper, concentrated lychee juice. Peppery finish. Lacking malt base, decent hop profile.

Pours golden with a white head. Intense dry piney hop aroma. Super dry and piney. Notes: on tap at Alabi Room Vancouver, May ’17
