Aroma and flavor is malts, mild caramel and a smooth/slightly beery finish. Not bad, rather forgettable but that’s not necessarily bad, definitely not nasty.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 NOthing good to say about it, but if you are incredible thirsty and the only beer you can get is this one, you will be ok.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2004 What can I say about this beer? indeed it is Superior to anything that our friendly neighbors "Los Gringos" has to offer. Any Mexican beer is better than those piss-flavored (not that I ever tasted pee but yankee beer taste like hell) American beers like Miller Lite Ice, Old Milwaukee or Budweiser. (No offense boys, but your beers simply sucks).

Can of 355ml, bought at the local Oxxo, I would prefer the bottle but then I would have to buy a package of six of a beer I don’t know. So, this can should do it for this review. Light yellow colour, a bunch of bubbles and a two finger head that lingers for a while, but only because I poured it so.  Aroma is of malts (?) or corn, certainly doesn’t stink that much of corn. Nice taste, although nothing obviously traceable, it is not bitter, it is not sweet, just ..neutral. Medium carbonation and medium thickness. Overall, the most average beer I’ve drunk till now in Mexico, if you find yourself there and don’t know which beer to choose, this is your safiest option.

I drank it out of plastic cups at a swim-up bar in Cozumel. Hard to complain about anything at that point.

Another very typical Mexican beer. It has a very light and refreshing flavor, great for a hot day. Drink it w/o the lime.

Bue à Playa Del Carmen au Mexique. Quand on a les pieds dans le sable on peut devenir moins objectif...Couleur jaune paille, mousse blanche. Maïs et un peu de malt, peu de houblon. Finale sans histoire, très douce.

1.2L bottle bought from the tienda across the street from the hotel. A- Slight red/ruby color. Thin head. S- Nothing really. T- Light. Not too "fizzy". M- Crisp, light and fizzy....almost no body to speak of. D - better than Corona and other typical MX beer found north of the border.

Superior 4.6% has a thin, white head, a clear, straw appearance, with lots of fairly large white chunks, suspended, throughout. Lots of glass lacing left behind. The aroma is of a sharp spice note, of some sort and a strange green apple or grape skin smell. Taste is somewhat muted, but one will pick up that odd grape or apple thing. Mouthfeel is medium, and Superior Original finishes crisp and easy going. RJT
