Appearance: slightly hazy straw two fingers of fluffy growing white head, excellent retention and well-defined lacing. (4/5) Aroma: floral, honey, citrus, yeast, hay, light funk. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light tart. (6/10) Medium-light body turning rapidly watery, prickly carbonation, off-dry moderate bitter and warming finish. (3/5) Im not sure what exactly it is about this leaves me a little unimpressed. The initial aromas are promising, similar to other BSPAs, but no real depth or complexity seems to develop. The medium-light body is initially buoyed by a lively, almost prickly carbonation, but it drops off rapidly to a watery, uninspiring finish. The ABV isnt overwhelming, but its definitely there, almost to the point of slight harshness. Overall, it just feels a little clumsy to me. I also never would have guessed that there was any added citrus, and certainly wouldnt have been able to pinpoint it as Meyer. Its fine, and theres nothing really wrong with it as such, but Im not sure its worth the price tag. (13/20)

Le nez est plein de bonnes crales fraches, dagrumes et dalcool. Cette bire a une amertume citronne, florale et savonneuse. Cest bon mais ce petit ct "gomme au savon" prend beaucoup de place. Effervescence nulle...

A decent but pricey beer with a little pinch of lemon zest. Sweet and toasted with a bit of bready, caramel malts. Big and heavy mouthfeel with a small spice blend and a light floral yeast. Nice and easy to sip on but a bit bland.

Pours a hazy, straw color with a quickly dissipating white head. Getting some crisp citrus, hay, and booze on the nose. In the mouth, a refreshing tartness gradually tapers off against a mild malt profile. Lingering bitterness on the tongue with lemony aromatics hanging around. Smooth palate, carbonation level matches well with the style. A nice brew, feel Id enjoy it much more on a sweltering summer eve though.

750 ml bottle purchase at Les Marchants de la Bire in Sainte-Thrse (Quebec) on April 5, 2016. Hazy honey blonde, medium head. Aroma of sweet herbs and pale malt, nice kiss of citrus hops. Citrus and yeast taste, good grapefruit note, nice dry bitter finish. It feels like some super monks made this beer!

Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium sized off white head. Nose has minerals, hay, flowers, citrus, dust. Flavour follows with flowers, dust, dry grass, light rubber, alcohol. Medium body, oily texturer, lively carbonation, some sweetness ,mild bitterness. Feels a bit clumsy and alcoholic.
