Draft. A red mead. The aroma has notes of honey, flowers, and grapes. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, honey, and berries, leading to a dry finish.

A lighter burgundy red mead with aroma of sweet honey, light grape juice, light vinous character, very nice. In mouth, a wonderful sweet honey with funky grapeskin, oily mouth feel, winelike quality, alcohol warmth, very beautiful. Bottle at meadery.

Other than the off-putting and strong wine aroma, this is outstanding. Taste is way better than the aroma. Hints of syrah mixed with the honey. Great stuff.

a rather large sample. clear bright pink-purple pour with some legs like no other. meaty intensely fruity syrah grapes, blue grapes - agreed MC; plums, other plump red fruits, tannic grape skin, wood as well, sweetness - honey and berry jam; purple matter, clean. flat carbonation, full body - oily and thick; sweet, softly warming and tannic fruity finish. flavours of syrah grapes and mesquite honey blend splendidly.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2016 Thanks to tom10101 for this rare treat! Pours a dark purple and completely still with some legs. Nose is of currants, Ontario blue raisins/grapes (not sure what these are called in english but you know these smaller, softer blue skinned grapes?) , honey, light booze and wine. Taste is more grapes with their skins, moderately sweet and slightly alcoholic but nowhere near 14% hot. Mouthfeel is where this truly shines: rich, dense, syrupy and a little sticky. Exactly what you’d expect from a honey-based beverage. Again, alcohol is felt but nothing bad. A really nice dessert, the rich honey and grapes are a match made in heaven! I might try to brew something like that someday.

Bottle from kbudd19, massive thanks! Deep purple leaving some nice legs on the glass. It’s my first Pyment so it’s a bit hard to judge but it’s totally grape forward and backed by a strong honey presence as well as a really nice blackberry presence. Taste is sweet but less than expected from the aroma, there’s again a strong grapes and a strong honey presence, alcohol is definitely there but not overly boozy, there’s interesting berries features, mild tartness as well as a mild spiciness. Medium to full body. Still. Super tannic mouthfeel. Grapey and honey finish with a nice alcohol warmth, never burning. I’m far from an expert with Pyment but I found this beverage to be elegant, multi-layered and never cloying. A damn fine wine/mead hybrid.

Bottle @ Steasy’s. Thanks for sharing! Deep purple pour with a tiny head. Nose of rich blackberry jam. Honeycomb, musty pollen. Flavor is pretty vinous. Tart blackberry. Fruit skin. Earthy and rich. Full and oily. Substantial. Very good.
