Dark brown color, steady creamy tan head. Yeasty, vegetably, a bit chocolaty aroma. Crisp, fruity, grape-fruitness in the flavor, also plumes and dates. Quite yeasty, maybe too fresh.

330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009)
Hazy gold, tiny tight head. Odd rotting meat aroma. In fact, it’s meat and 2 veg. One of the veg’s is asparagus. Soapy taste, also some veg. Finish very hoppy. Yeast removes the quirkiness, and reduces soapiness.

kermis (13470) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2013
Bottle sample at Essen Kerstbierfestival. Cloudy brown pour with a beige head. Aroma of toffee, fudge and boozy alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Overripe dark fruit aspects coming out in the palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, bought @ Belgianshop.com
Pours deep brown, bordering on black. A fair, but rather fizzy offwhite head that settles as a millimeter thick foam. Heavy spicy aroma. Lots of cloves, coriander, sour-ish plums and cherries, chocolate. Some sweet caramel to back it all up. High carbonation, very prickly. Otherwise fine, and lightly dry mouthfeel. Nice flavours. Chocolate, light tart fruit, yeast, well-balanced spiciness with some coriander, cinnamon. Fine dryness with some cocoa-powder feel. Actually a very nice Christmas beer.

sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 21, 2012
33cl bottle, BB 10/2013.
