COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sure were abrasive. We were abrasive long before we were Surly. If you visit the brewery you can still see remnants of the industrial manufacturing factory Omars parents ran for 35 years within those same 4 walls. Bandsaw blades, grinding wheels, and sanding discs came long before ales and lagers. But lets be honest, this is a lot more fun. Pale in color, this over-hopped, under-brewed Double IPA has almost twice the amount of hops & malt crammed in the can. Seasonal between March and April.

Can that pours gold. Big huge citrus aroma that just explodes when drank. This is huge full flavored beer that goes down damn easy for 9%. Need more of these.

Cloudy golden body, balanced nicely between its malty burnt caramel flavors that add contrast to the bright tropical fruit notes of pineapple. grapefruit and mango. Intense pine hops linger over a sticky texture.

Can dated 12/3/15 poured in a tulip. Pour is a cloudy apricot with a somewhat foamy off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is mango, papaya, citrus fruit, and pine. Taste is juicy tropical and citrus fruit up front. Lots of mango, oranges, and some grapefruit. There is a bit of pine in there and some caramel and a bit of alcohol. to round it out. Beer drinks a bit heavy and sticky. Really awesome.
