Thanks Gryder for this one! Pours a golden orange color with a nice white head. Aroma is a hopheads heaven!! Grapefruit and solid hops DOMINATE the aroma. Hits of caramel malts peek through in the background. Flavor is of pure hop, grapefriut, and some pine, followed by a nice sweet malt backing that ends in a bitter finish, and those hops just go on and on! LOVE THIS BREW!!!!!! UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Didnt think I would have a surly brew I enjoyed more than Furious, however this one takes the cake! For anyone who loves a bitter hoppy beer this is the epitome of delicious beer, great color, aroma, taste, and mouthfeel. Had this beer on tap at the White Horse in St. Cloud MN, great bar with excellent food and beer, stop in if visiting St. Cloud and want a great place to hangout. Poured from a can into a pilsner.
A. Pours a reddish brown hue, thick 2 finger head, continued to maintain a 2mm thick head sip after sip.
S. Smells strongly floral, lots and lots of sweet pine, and tons of citrus. This is a big smelling beer the second you open the can.
T. Tastes of sweet citrus, lots of pine, slightly sour grape fruit, and tangy orange peel.
M. Medium body, coarse feeling, with a lightly dry finsh.
O. I love this beer. It’s well balanced flavor, and an amazing smell. I could open a can of this and leave it in my bathroom as an air freshener! This is a super tasty beer. Everyone should try this beer at least once (But needing to have more won’t be an option). Kranin (23) - - FEB 13, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2012 Phenomenal brew. It?s balance of sweetness, hope aroma, fresh hop flavor and bitter is almost without equal. (16oz Can/Apple Valley Liquor) 02/2012 saultbauls (2) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - APR 23, 2012 does not count
Awesome beer! Probably my favorite Imperial IPA. I wish they made this year round, but I suppose their Furious will have to do until next year! Cant wait to try their Wet.

Nice beer color. Poors nice two fingers head. Drank out of wine glass for optimal openning up. Not as hoppy as I’d like, could’ve used more. ABV is lacking, had 3 of these and still felt fine to drive. Paired nicely with a McDouble and a few apples from MacDons. Probably won’t buy again, I could get much more Bud Ice for the same price. I’ll only rate a few bees at 100% and this is one of them. If you like grapefruit juice and can get it buy a 4 pack. One of the best tasting and smelling beers I’ve ever had. This one sets the bar. You can’t taste the ABV but you sure can feel it. 2 of these and you’ll probably be buzzing pretty good. bucs572000 (237) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Poured from a 16oz can. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Flavors are citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine, and orange peel. The nose on this beer alone is a hopheads dream. For this beer being as bitter as 120 ibus you would never know it, for a giant hop bomb this beer is dangerously drinkable. Touché surly! Nonphixion (4) - Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2014 does not count
This is everything a DIPA should be. The hops really start out center stage as all IPAs should. Very fragrant citrus, not a whole lot of floral notes. The palate is filled with grapefruit and orange zest. Mouthfeel is very playful. The only thing I want more about this beer is its availability. Baristas2Brewers (24) - - FEB 26, 2015
New favorite double IPA. It’s a perfect mix between a heady topper and a sip of sunshine mixed together. It’s absolutely amazing!!!! Seasonal but a true gem. Hoppy heaven
