Ill jump on this banxwagon. Citrusy and bitter. Light in color. Awesome ipa from surly. DalzAle (2036) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - APR 28, 2012
Tap.. Medium golden pour, average medium carbonation and a nice bitter hop aroma. Flavor is dry bitter hops, way less malt than Furious, pine, orange bitters and very dry on the finish. Really enjoyable, if given the choice between Furious and this, I would probably order this 9 time out of 10. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2012
At Surlyfest 5.
Excellent IPA. Nice citrus and floral hops with a good amount of bitterness at the end. Similar to Furious but with a noticeably different hop profile. I wish this was available in cans as it would be a better summer IPA than furious is. Very nice.

Big floral and citrus hops but not so much the piney in this one. Furious has been my go-to beer for several years now. Tyler, the beer buyer, knows which cooler and the bright red cans Iím headed for when I come in the store, but I have to say that Iím thinking that this beer might supplant Furious if it were available canned and outside of Target field.
Iím making this assertion based on one glass this afternoon, my first baseball game of the summer, in a glorious, brilliant sun watching the Twins come back from a 6 run deficit to beat the Angels, but Iím thinking that the lighter and less assertively bitter qualities of this one could make it my favorite If I didnít have to invest $8.75 in a 20oz (?) pour on top of a game ticket.
Good beer. Well done Surly.
And, by the way, what IS the appropriate glassware for a beer available only in a ballpark? http://i.imgur.com/Y8XGI.jpg arminjewell (9584) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Pour on tap Gate 124 at Target Field, dark reddish orange pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee and biscuit before it goes into big sweet grapefruit, orange, pine and grassy notes with a slight earth and spice note as well, really nice. Taste is nice juicy grapefruit and orange before it goes to pine and grass, finishing with a hint of spice and earth, nice bitter, caramel and toffee come through a bit also. Tasty. Had this at the All Pints North festival in Duluth, MN. Has some nice citrus scents and had a nice subtle bitterness. Great IPA for sitting outside during the day. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Draft at GTMW 12. Pretty cool find! Pours a nice looking gold, slightly hop hazed. Frothy white head. The nose is full of juicy American hops, citrus and resiny, some tropical fruit as well. Dry malt in the nose. On tasting, medium-high bitterness, tons of fruity hop flavor with a bone dry malt backbone. Still supported overall. Clean and fresh, pretty damn fine IPA. madvike (3250) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 24, 2012
On tap at GTMW - As a Twins fan, I love that this beer is only available for purchase at Target Field. Makes me want to go to a game! Pours clear amber with a big white head. Lots of citrus on the nose, with grass, herbal hops, clean malt, and light onion. Taste is the same, with a real clean malt base. Almost tastes like a hopped-up APA. Lots of fluffy carbonation, real soft in the mouth.
