GTMW. Deep orange pour. Nice bouquet of floral citrus and pine hops. Flavor is light citrus and pine bitterness with a mild caramel malt backbone. Clean, crisp, and slightly dry. This is a pounder of a beer that you could drink all summer long. Nicely done. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2013
On tap at Twins games. Aside from the long lines you have to wait in to get this IPA - it’s a perfect cousin to Furious for the outdoor baseball fan. Atom (2418) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 13, 2012
On tap at the ballpark section 124, pours an amber/brown with a small khaki head. Aroma of herbal hop spice, citrus, and caramel malt. Taste has a nice balance of spicy hops, citrus, and caramel malt. It’d say this is a more mellow version Furious with less of a hop bite but slightly more bitter. Still very nice and a bright spot on a dreary day and Twins loss to the Rangers. BVery (10312) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Tap at Target Field, section 124. Amber orange pour with a white head. Nice rich aroma and taste of citrus, biscuit, and caramel. Very good. emeinz (220) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Another solid brew from surly. Notes of citrus and floral aromas. Bit of toffee on the nose as well. Amber/caramel pour with moderate white head. Nice bitter finish. Its similar to furious, but different enough to stand on its own. Not bad prices for ballpark beer either. $8.75 for 24 ounces. I was just at Fenway and it was roughly $8/12 ounces of domestic light.

July 21, 2012 on tap at All Pints North. Orange brown pour with head. Citrus hops in aroma and taste. Liked this better than Furious and wish it was available in cans. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Draft pour on tap at GTMW 2012 (Madison, WI). Pours a rich glowing orange hue, no real haze, healthy rich glow. Frothy offwhite head dies to a big layer, sticks around well overall. Aromas are earthy and bitter hops, bits of citrus, some florals grow. Lemon cookies, biscuits. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some richer dry florals, lemons, and dry citrusy grapefruit. Firm bitterness leads into some bready malts, pale, and a bit of sweetness. Middle is mellow sweetness, firmer bitter lemon grows. Touches of grapefruit, earthy florals, grass, and richer bitter hops linger on the finish. A smaller malt base than Furious, fresher hops, more drinkable in my opinion. Tasty. Glad to have a chance at. mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - APR 11, 2012
Tap at the stadium. My girlfriend is giving me dirty looks. It’s good, but not as good as furious. JK (6090) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JUN 12, 2012
On tap at the ballpark, section 124, which I believe is the only place in the world to find this beer. Watching the Twins pound the Phillies in inter-league play tonight. Dark amber color and surprisingly well hopped with dry citrus. Flavor has on the dry side, with characteristic Surly yeast, malt, and more hops. A well hopped beer to serve at the ballpark, and it reminds me of Furious. Drinks pretty good, along with Cynic, this is probably the best beer available at Target field. burgy (456) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2012
You can see why Surly choose to do an IPA at the ballpark, it gets hot in Minneapolis! An IPA is a great drink to cool down with and that you wont want to dump after it sits in the sun a little too long. As to the other comments that this is just like Furious..... Your wrong. This is not as hoppy as Furious but it does seem a little more bitter. There is a unique difference in the two. I hope that Surly will be able to do a canning run of this in the Baseball off-season. Overall a great beer!
