3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Poured black with a hint of brown and a one-finger foamy head. Great coffee aroma that comes through in the taste as well but the taste is more balanced with the ale flavor. Well done.
16floz can, COD: 09.12.2017, $2.75 single, imperial pint glass of sorts. It's medium dark brown in color topped with a frothing tan head that sloshes around with every drink. Smels like coffee with some milk added to it. Taste is of a cold pressed coffee with husky grain tossed in. For a slyly robust palate, the body feels kinda light. An excellent coffee beer. An excellent brown ale. mjmoen (591) - - OCT 31, 2017
C-. Pours a black color with khaki head. I would probably enjoy it more if I liked coffee. aduxi (22) - - OCT 15, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2017 True to its name the coffee is omnipresent in this beer. Great hop balance too. Itzjerm (3114) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Spot on coffee beer. For abv amazing. Yes better coffee beers out there but not at this abv. Nice falvors toasty dark morning roast with a bit of green coffee bean. Nice head that rounds out to a ring. A bit more body would be appreciated but at abv it is as expected poisoneddwarf (2646) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - SEP 2, 2017
16 oz can from a four pack bought in Duluth, MN. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, green bell pepper, gun metal, toffee, vanilla, dark bread. Pours dark brown with a one finger beige head with good retention. Taste is lightly sweet and roasty, finishing lightly bitter. Good stuff.

Walnut brow with a creamy tan head. Coffee and roasted malt aroma with a hit of smoke. Strong coffee and dark malt flavor with a light bitterness. Creamy palate with a long smoky, malt finish. Very good PatrickYEG (61) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 5, 2017
This beer is our regular Bender beer with Guatemalan coffee, and roasted locally at Coffee & Tea Limited in Linden Hills. Coldpress coffee aromas, intense coffee flavors balanced by the oats in the malt bill, resulting in a cappuccino-like creaminess.

I absolutely love this beer. Yes, I hint of bitter but consistent with a strong coffee flavor. I love it on ice with cream and a dash of favorite coffee syrup. ExpendableHero (932) - Florida, USA - JUN 19, 2017
Dark brown beer with a tan head. Strong aromas of dark coffee. Tastes of dark coffee, burnt wheat, charred notes, and some earth. Bitter coffee finish. A bit one dimensional and too heavy handed on the dark coffee. Decent. phranq (250) - - MAY 20, 2017
Rich coffee aroma you’d expect from a big stout. Pours almost black brown. Taste is bright hops and coffee. Finishes light. Really good.
