Tried this one at the brewery. It seems like most American brewers have a difficult time with Belgian styles, but this one turned out very very well. Bright orange hazey color with fizzy white head. Belgian yeast aroma with hints of sweet malts and citrus hops. Flavor starts with familiar banana/resinous yeatiness, then finishes with a clean hop bitterness. This is a very well crafted beer. Case in point: I love Belgians, but my friend hates them...and we both loved this beer.

Pint can. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of pepper, clove, floral hops, apricot and peach. Pours clear golden colored with one finger of off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with spicy Belgian yeast and clove flavors with a good amount of pepper as well. Finishes smooth and dry with sweet apricot and peach flavors as well as some floral hops. Pretty good saison.

16 oz can. Hazy pour with a nice, clean head and some average lacing. Yeasty and fruity, bright floral, some pepper. Lighter sweetness, spice, and some good, clean bitterness. Tingly, bright mouthfeel. Finishes mid-dry. Pretty nice.

From can, the pour is a bright golden rod, clear, good carbonation and thick white head. The aroma is yeast (possibly Belgium strain?), green apples, a light note of bananas. The taste is crisp apples, slightly sweet, and a nice ale overall flavor. The finish is a little bitter , sweet and good level of malts. The mouthfeel is medium.

Wow they did a very good farmhouse here. Has that prickly, lively body with a hint of hay, bread and apples, finished semi dry with some candied apples and hops. Very smart.
