Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014 (both regular version and a cask version dry hopped with Glacier): Pours black with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, piney hops and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, burnt malt and citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
