4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap - good sized foamy head, medium amber color, nice big grapefruit hop aroma and flavor, fair malt backbone to go with it, very good beer overall

Hop and malt bomb which is a super combo. First beer I’ve had on my home kegerator so really want to rate it higher but the drinkability and simple palate and aroma keep it from perfection. It’s superior to most IPAs you can ever have but is dense as fuck.
On tap at my mother fucking house!!!

Can. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, grapefruit citrus and bitter pine resiny hops. Pours reddish-amber colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and decent lacing. Starts with caramel and toffee malt flavors with notes of grapefruit hop citrus and acidity. Finishes very dry and very bitter with pine resiny hops dominating and lingering on the palate after each sip. Pretty good, but huge bitterness on the finish does not play well. A: Dark copper color with a thin near-white head.
N: Pineapple, pine, papaya, cracker, some mango, hint of herb, lots of damp leaves, earthiness. Touch of olive.
N: Quite bitter but pleasantly so. There is a good cracker base underneath.
M: Medium body, resinous body, no alcohol. Easy to drink.
O: A hearty delicious IPA. So we'll balanced. Probably as good as Boneyard. Had 2 in a row. SODAK14 (391) - Rapid City, South Dakota, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Not a huge IPA fan but this one isn't too bad. Not a "drinking" beer. I could barely finish two. A fairly high 6.7% alcohol content but it sure seemed like more. Strong aftertaste, reminds me more of sipping on a nice whiskey.

This is a really good beer. Reddish copper pour with a nice laced head. Big resiny hops aroma. Big resin hop bitterness first backed by a nice malty backbone. Finish is tingly hops and dry. Becomes a touch fruitier as it warms. Bill Becker (2003) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 31, 2017

I got this can in a trade with leftmindedrighty. Thanks Aaron!
This pours from 16oz can a cloudy rusty brown colour with a very small head of foam.
The smell is *very* nice. Caramel malt is there in abundance as is a nice strong hoppy nose.
The taste starts off malty sweet, that caramel is very tasty, and then the hops move in with some grapefruit, some Pine, and a bit of grass and spice and the whole taste becomes very nicely balanced until the near the finish where the hops take over but wait, they don't take over entirely. The actual finish has some sweet malt as well. Wow. And talk about smooth and easy drinking. The mouthfeel is medium and the carbonation is lightly done. Again. Wow and...whoa. I just took my last sip. This puppy disappeared way to quickly! This is one of the best IPAs I've ever had if not *the* best.
Thanks again Aaron! CObiased (561) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2017
1 pint can - it pours a clear but fiery mahogany ale with a thick soapy straw colored head. Big vibrant aroma of fragrant pine and citrusy hops followed by a bready/nutty malt structure. Wonderful hop bouquet....bitter citrus, pine sap and a hint of floral....long lingering bitterness. Very nice jbruner (5456) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 14, 2017
Pours a clear golden brown from the can with fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma of big pine and citrus hop notes, dank freshness over a mild caramel malt base. Taste follows, great hop and malt balance, but hugely bright hop crispness that lingers with some decent bitterness. A very nice version of an old school IPA, that is done really well. cmarks50 (4) - - OCT 13, 2017 does not count
Another light beer. Would drink again but after a few other actually good beers...
