COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Hops? You’ll like this fire-hued beer. This is the beer I have always dreamed of making. This is the beer that would come to mind while spending the last two years tearing down walls, hanging sheetrock, moving kegs, power washing the ceilings, arguing with various agencies, and cutting the water main. Without Golden Promise malt, made by family-owned Simpsons Malt, Furious would just be pissed offed. From Scotland, this malt is still produced in the tradition of turning over the barley by hand, resulting in a malt that is unsurpassed in its quality. Golden Promise is also used extensively by premium whisky distilleries such as The Macallan. This malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used at a rate of over three pounds per barrel. The result is a rich malt sweetness infused with bright hop flavor and aroma from beginning to end.

Love the aroma of spruce and grapefruit. Flavor is really spicy with tons of bitterness. Really on the dry side of things. Minimal sweetness. Flavor Is piney with a underlining citrus rind. Mostly bitter with some maltiness to pretend to balance things out. Really good if you like your IPA bitter and dry. Long finish.

Pours reddish gold with a massive beige head. Aroma is dank hops and roasted malts. Flour is rich hearty bitterness. Fine SG is more bitter with some malt backing.

Hop and malt bomb which is a super combo. First beer I’ve had on my home kegerator so really want to rate it higher but the drinkability and simple palate and aroma keep it from perfection. It’s superior to most IPAs you can ever have but is dense as fuck. On tap at my mother fucking house!!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 One of the finest Minnesota has to offer. Truly a staple of the brew scene here.

Can. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, grapefruit citrus and bitter pine resiny hops. Pours reddish-amber colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and decent lacing. Starts with caramel and toffee malt flavors with notes of grapefruit hop citrus and acidity. Finishes very dry and very bitter with pine resiny hops dominating and lingering on the palate after each sip. Pretty good, but huge bitterness on the finish does not play well.

Can. A: Dark copper color with a thin near-white head. N: Pineapple, pine, papaya, cracker,  some mango, hint of herb, lots of damp leaves, earthiness. Touch of olive. N: Quite bitter but pleasantly so. There is a good cracker base underneath. M: Medium body, resinous body, no alcohol. Easy to drink. O: A hearty delicious IPA. So we'll balanced. Probably as good as Boneyard.  Had  2 in a row.

Not a huge IPA fan but this one isn't too bad. Not a "drinking" beer. I could barely finish two. A fairly high 6.7% alcohol content but it sure seemed like more. Strong aftertaste, reminds me more of sipping on a nice whiskey.

This is a really good beer. Reddish copper pour with a nice laced head. Big resiny hops aroma. Big resin hop bitterness first backed by a nice malty backbone. Finish is tingly hops and dry. Becomes a touch fruitier as it warms.
