COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been said; "It’s easier to brew an extremely hoppy beer than an extremely balanced beer." And you know us, we are always looking for the easy way out, so we jumped on the West Coast IPA bandwagon and brewed this dry and hoppy ale. "Surly’s a little bit of a one-trick pony, they just brew gimmick beers," and maybe we are OVERRATED, but at the end of the day, it’s just a beer. If you like it, great, so do we. If you only liked us when we were small, then leave this one on the shelf. Let one of the fanboys grab it.

[email protected] & Friends, Copenhagen - orange coloured pour with small white head. Aroma and taste is citrus fruity and malty, lovely and hoppy with pleasing mandarin and grapefruit flavours throughout, pine needles, good bitter finish.

Tap at Le Senk. Very aromatic, intense flowery, citrusy, resiny. Clear orange colour. Moderately stable head. Taste is mostly hoppy, high bitterness, flowery, citrusy, spruce. Intense, yet gentle. Very good.

Poured from a can. Didn't get much from the aroma - a little pine and citrus. Poured hazy golden with a full frothy white head Initial bitterness lingered during the entire experience. Very easy to drink with a short finish.

On draft. Ok, maybe I got a bad pour but this was not good, very overrated, and not a true West Coast IPA. It had some citrus notes and a bitter finish, but something strange about this beer. I know this will sound crazy, but it almost had a taste of mild haberno spice, I know crazy right? Not that good.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Clear golden body with an average, off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, caramel and pine. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA.
