2000 bottle thanks to Tim. Pours a cloudy amber with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong smoke, pepper, and wood. Thin mouth, light malt, very strong smoke and pepper with lingering dryness, very good.

Sample at CBC 2013. Dark brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, spice and smoke.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear dark brown with an average brown frothy head that was mostly lasting with very good lacing. Moderate to heavytoasted smoke malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet toasted smoked flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Complex very good beer.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy biter wonderfull smoked flavor. Creamy palate. Great stuff.

A deep dark lager with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a peaty chocolate malt with light smokey notes, not bad. In mouth, a nice sweet dark fruity malt with light peated notes, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at End of Everything beer fest Dec 22 2013.

Sampled on draft at GTMW 2011. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toffee, cherries and smoke. The taste is smoke. Big smoke. Caramel and berries also. Medium bodied.

Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, chocolate, nutty), light hops (herbs), average yeast (leather) with notes of smoke and brown sugar. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
