Draft @ CBC 2013. Pours a clear amber color with a white head. Has a sweetish malty woody caramel and vanilla aroma. Sweetish malty spicy hopy dry woody flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy woody caramel finish.

Draught, 15%. Vanilla aroma. Hazy amber colour. White head. Vanilla flavour, turns fruity. Late citric note with a lot of warming alcohol. Not boozy, but of course strong. Tastes all right, but why so much alcohol?

Pours a deep, clean orange with a white head. Smell is like a fruit explosion, no other way to describe it. Taste is more fruit, and delightfully dry (Note: later tasting notes mark it as becoming significantly sweeter), and a balanced hoppiness. Not too bitter, and has a sticky, full mouthfeel. I’m a fan.

Fad: Lysegul uklar øl med et fint skumhoved. Massiv sødme i duften men med en humleprofil der bakker den op. Interessant med den megen alkohol men sødmen fungerer faktisk ok.

Tap @ Mikkeller and Friends, Cph. Pours hazy orange with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has clear candied oranges, strawberry, vinious, light overripe peach . A bit of oak. Low carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has general heavy sweetness at first, oranges, peach, very heavy on alcohol. Far too much.

SlackerMads (3518) - DENMARK - JUN 18, 2013
Tap. Clear copper with a small off white head. A little caramel in the nose. Taste is over the top boozy, light barrel notes, grain, drying alcohol, astringent, dried fruits. No.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours murky orange copper with a tiny beige head and a fruity melon aroma. There is a slightly fruity toffee flavor with a lots of heat and a dry finish. Pretty oaky too. Quite complex.

Large bottle from Guerde! - thanks for the Surly! Pours orange gold with a slight white head. Aroma shifts - honey, then melon, then ... Full bodied. burns in the gullet but not so much in the mouth. It’s a little tallboyish in flavor, but a lot better than macro malt liquor! Not much hop. Finishes a lot less than dry. Interesting.

750ml orange waxed bottle via trade. I wish this was so much more but alas it is what it is. Poured a rather dull cloudy orange body with a small frothy mostly white head that leaves minimal lace on my Sammy tulip. Aroma is all sweetness, honey, tropical fruits, flowers, honey topped bread, orange marmalade and pineapple, off shoot bubble gum notes. Palate is a fuller thinness to an almost medium body with softer carbonation that finishes harsh probably from the nondetectable ridicuously high ABV. Flavor is similar to the aroma, pineapple juice, citrus notes, mangos, sugar, alcohol, toast, marmalade that has spoiled. The body is slightly syrupy especially for the carbonation and the ABV is still a well hidden secret. Overall it’s sort of a booze bomb that is super sweet. Not Surly’s best, which may be my last......let’s both hope not.

750ml bottle pours a hazy orange amber with some clumpy, white head. Nose is weird, oddly sweet, honeysuckle, malt, orange, raw wood, some white corn whiskey. Flavor is like white corn whiskey, malt, some tropical fruit, pressure treated pine. Full, hot finish. Tastes like barrel aged Olde English.
