Draft at Capone’s. Pale gold pour with bready pale malt in the nose, mild hops, watery finish. solidfunk (9444) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 8, 2016
I think Im guilty of giving this lager a slightly higher rating than a similar macro lager deserves. Am I biased? Crisp and papery. Golden pour. Sampled but not bought at Gilly’s.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy bright golden color with a meidum sized soapy white head ath left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet, corny, a bit of citrus and egg white. The flavor was tangy, citric, sweet, yeasty and had a bit of grass and perfume. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grain and sugar. Taste is grainy and bready. It is still clean in the graininess. Not bad for a lawnmower beer with a name to match. kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Bottle. Pours a bright pale gold body with a fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring quickly. The nose is pretty decent for the style, some light bready and crackery malt with a nice light hop undertone. The flavor is better than average as well, light on the malt but very crisp and well lagared finishing very clean with a slight hop bitterness that adds that little snap that makes it interesting. Much cleaner and sharp than most Pale Lagers. Light bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation that enhances the light bitterness. This is pretty good.
