On tap at City Taphouse pours a hazy orange with some ringing white head. Nose is big with citrus pith, a little wet paper, straw, some soap, a little raw grist. Flavor is a bit overdone with the citrus rind, orange and grapefruit mostly, a bit grassy too, but the paper is still there. Bitter finish. obguthr (6538) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Orange and hay nose. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head, fairly good retention and lacing. Overripe orange, hints of nougat, pencil shavings. Resinous bitter orange peel finish. Full body, moderate carbonation. Nearly a DIPA and drinks that way too. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - APR 12, 2016
Opaque appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Tropical fruit and citrus mingle in the aroma as the grains circle in the background. Rye and other grains add a substantial backbone for the diverse hop profile. Enjoying the solid body, generous mouthfeel and lingering finish. Alcohol is evident but not harsh. Might be considered a DIPA. This is one I really think is underrated altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAR 21, 2016
Bottle from Perfect Pour. Hazy orange body with medium head. Nose is hoppy and spicy. Taste nice citrus and hops up front. Smooth texture with some hop burts in the finish. Rye all over this. Really nice. jgb9348 (6399) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 7, 2016
Clear copper and bronzed coloured body with a thinnish, relatively fast-dying tan head. Aroma of bright citrus and lightly piney hops, some grain and distinctly rye notes and a pleasant crisp metallic note.Light to Medium-bodied; Strong rich rye flavours coupled with a lot of bright hops, some moderate complexity with both the hops and the malt and even a little caramel sweetness. Aftertaste is crisp and enjoyable with a very minimal sweetness, but the hops really shine through along with the rye grain. Overall, a nice beer with a subdued complexity, but the rye really does stand out here. Definitely worth sampling if you can get this beer, especially on tap! I sampled this thirty-two ounce growler fill on draught at Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 05-March-2016 for US$8,00 sampled at home later in the day and the following on 06-March-2016.

Nice rye flavor and deep coloring of amber red. A little bread aroma and taste. The hops have a real kick. Tap Dorwart (2604) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 28, 2015
Very nice sized bright white head of fine bubbles and very good carbonation. Aroma is ripe fruit, peaches and lemons along with some dry grass, light malts and earthy hoppiness. Color is a slightly hazy bright orange. Lively in the mouth with some tea leaves, floral hops, moderate bitterness and lemon grass. Lingering herbal bitterness. Light alcohol presence and warming. This is a pretty good and better than i expected. I have come to have low expectations from a lot of the local PA brewers. This ones is pretty decent. Draft at Whole Foods. Deep copper hazy pour with off-white head. Nose was rye malt, hops, earthy, with the flavor being rye forward, with piney hops, caraway notes, caramel. Solid beer.
