A hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light rye notes, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light rye notes, resinous hops, light mineral notes, citrus, very nice and smooth. On tap at IBU 2016.

on tap at noctem, qc. hazy dark golden, orange-red tint, with a small creamy off-white cap offering some retention and lacing. very fruity - perhaps from 100% brett fermentation, tons of fresh peach juice, doughy red berry fruitiness, tropical fruits as well, zesty earthy citrus, spicy velvety rye, clean yeast. moderate carbonation, light to medium body - oily; both smooth and assertive spicy-peppery-grapefruity finish. juicy hops in a splendidly supporting rye backbone. solid peach-driven brett rye ipa.

Drank on tap (16 oz) at the brewpub on June 22, 2016. Murky copper gold, small head. Hoppy light citrus aroma, notes of sweet rye. Fruity dry herb taste, notes of orange rye, hoppy cereal bitterness. The rye works well in this IPA!

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy orange-amber with a medium off-white head, good retention, leaving some lacing. Aroma is a nicely balanced mix of resinous hops, caramel and rye spiciness with some fun floral presence and hints of perfume (I often get that from rye). Taste is a little less balanced than aroma with rye spiciness taking more place as well as caramel, there’s also some fruity brettanomyces, earthy/mineral notes and medium resinous bitterness. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Fluffy mouthfeel. Resinous - and somewhat sticky - finish. Really nice nose that integrates rye better than many Rye IPA I have tried. A tad too sticky for my liking but otherwise another really good beer from Sutton.

Robe orangée opaque sur un nez fruit de passion, qui s’estompe très vite et laisse une odeur désagréable. En bouche, les notes maltés caramels et pins grillés dominent sur un final plus fruité et une petite amertume. Quelconque.
