Can courtesy of Rune. Almost black with a frothy off-white head. Crisp tasting stout, mainly through the excellent water used in this ale. Has some light chocolate in its nose, with a more robust taste, but not overly stated in its roasted malts.

Raven black color with a fine dense beige head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Chocolate, roast and coffee in a fine mix. Decent easy drinkable stout.

Can. Dark bubbly with strong beige head. Strong licorice, some burnt malt, chocolate. Lots of char, roast, herbs, some licorice. Light body for a stout and somewhat sticky. A bit too coarse for my tastes.

Fra boks på Mi2 Cardinal juni-17: brunsvart med rødlig skjær og flott skum som varer. Mild aroma med røstet malt, kaffe og mørke sjokolader. Rund smak med de samme inntrykkene. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken. God og lettdrikkelig.

Holmen2 (4296) - NORWAY - JUN 5, 2017
