Svaneke bryghus laver igen en fin øl. Træt af deres etiketter - dårligt design... Men denne Brown ale smager fint nok, dog uden at imponere.

DraftDodger (1510) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2015
Copenhagen 5/2 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Pours rather dark brown with lightly beige head. Gradually dissipating. Aroma is sweet with a little chocolate and toffee. Medium carbonation. Taste follows the nose. Rather sweet but supplemented with a good bitterness. Quite fine - but more stout than brown ale.

Stærk Brown Ale med massere af smag! Kan dog blive for meget efter andet glas.

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is mildly nutty with some slight berries, spruce, mild yeast as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is toasted malts, some berries, yeast, mild wood, resin and spruce as well as some slight nutty notes to it. Pleasant as such, but the berries do bring a kind of strange feel to the beer.
