Min favorit ale ! Dejlige chokolade/karamel eftersmag. Flot farve og dejligt skum

Aroma; roasted malts, plums, grassy hops, malted candies, prunish chocolate, almond, vanilla. Look; light beige top, dark brown body. Taste; roasted malts, chocolate, grassy hops, malted candies, nut, almond, vanilla, grain - leading to a malty cocoa’ish finish. Feel; solid for that abv. Overall; perfect match with spicy dishes, barbecue etcetera, and surprisingly fresh 4 months after BB-date. It seems to me, when reading older ratings, that this brown has been darker recently. Possibly the beer has been improved. That brewery on Bornholm Island is genious sometimes, maybe quite often. [50cl.br.btl abv5.0% BB160416 [email protected]øtex Middelfart DK]

Pours a clear and copper beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, caramel, toffee and sweetness. The flavor follows the nose with additional sweetness. The palate is bitterness with some sweetness. Overall a good beer.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Unfiltered. Hazy brown colour. Moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of over-ripe red berries and brown malts, hints of caramel. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, notes of caramel and slightly roasted malts, hints of red berries. Piney hops in the aftertaste. Pleasant to drink.

Rigtig god brown ale, og smagen af chokolade er meget gennemtrængene, og den minder næsten mest om en chokolade ale.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours clear orange brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet and dark roasted malt, chocolate and hazelnuts. Taste of chocolate, nuts, caramel, dark malt, nice!

Bärnstensfärgad med ljusbrunt skum. I aromen framträder framför allt gräddkola, men också ljus sirap, knäckebröd och citrusfrukt. Smaken är len och besk på samma gång. Knäckebröd, röda bär och apelsinskal.

Bottle, 500ml, from Torvehallerne, Copenhagen. A cloudy dark brown colour with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some musty leaves, fruity hop notes. Flavour has biscuity roasted malt, brown sugar, coffee bitterness, sour citrus notes. Medium carbonation. A surprisingly tasty brew.
