50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours clear orange brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet and dark roasted malt, chocolate and hazelnuts. Taste of chocolate, nuts, caramel, dark malt, nice!

Aroma; roasted malts, plums, grassy hops, malted candies, prunish chocolate, almond, vanilla. Look; light beige top, dark brown body. Taste; roasted malts, chocolate, grassy hops, malted candies, nut, almond, vanilla, grain - leading to a malty cocoa’ish finish. Feel; solid for that abv. Overall; perfect match with spicy dishes, barbecue etcetera, and surprisingly fresh 4 months after BB-date. It seems to me, when reading older ratings, that this brown has been darker recently. Possibly the beer has been improved. That brewery on Bornholm Island is genious sometimes, maybe quite often. [50cl.br.btl abv5.0% BB160416 [email protected]øtex Middelfart DK]

Bottle. 5.0%. Best before 15.07.16. Pours a murky dark amber/brown, with a tan head. Good lacing. Hoppy aroma, a bit citrusy and grassy, with roasted malt, the latter increasing as it warms. Further warming brings out an old hops/cheesy note. Flavour is hoppy, with malt as it warms as well. Old hops/cheese as it warms here as well. Rather bitter finish, with a liquorice hint. Lingering malty note with a smokey hint, as well as a grassy/green apple note. Bread note as it warms. Overall okay, with a nice dose of hops. 15.03.16.

Rigtig god brown ale, og smagen af chokolade er meget gennemtrængene, og den minder næsten mest om en chokolade ale.

Amber brown color. Aroma is fruity, sugar. Taste is medium sweet with short bitter finish. Easy to drink. Would drink it again.

Flaske (bb.191114), delt i hyggelig lag på brygga med Willy og aspirant Joa: varm brunfarge med fint beige skum som varer helt ned. Maltpreget aroma og smak med fine innslag av ristet brød, nøtter og bær.
