Nice dark red brown color with descent head. Smokey malty aroma with hints of caramel. Again in flavor lots of malts and more caramel and hazlenut. A distinct sharp bitter end.
Mmm i like it! Another great beer from Svaneke. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2004
Bottle. Beautyfull Hazy red golden color. Sweet malty caramel aroma and yeasty taste. Medium to full body and a sweet light dry finish. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2004
A very nice vienna style beer. Slight hazy orange body with good off-white head. Aroma is malty and sweet with some caramel and maybe some honey. Flavor is malty with some caramel and a nice bitter finish. Sigmund (7918) - Tau, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2004
Bottle conditioned, 700 ml. ABV is 5.8%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate head. Interesting aroma and flavour: caramel and toffee but not really sweetish, spices (cardamom, white pepper, salt of hartshorn), some alcoholic bite but not too much. Hoppy bitterness in the finish leaves a nice aftertaste. Good beer! Thanks, JensenTaster! PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2004
On bottle: Bronze colour, short off white head. Malty sweet aroma. Honey. Good carbonation. Mild, moderately hopped flavour. Sweet (and roasted) malts. A hint of minerals. Something floral. Dry, slightly bitter finish. Overall very good indeed.

This i a great vienna. The beer has the same type of yeast taste as many other beers from Svaneke. Bitter finish, caramel, sweet flavour. High carbonation shich gives a great mouth feeling. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2004
Bottled: Amber coloured. Light dusty. Off white medium head. Lasting. Caramel, hops and malt in the nose. Chocolate, malts and some fruityness in the flavour. Light bitter in the end with a somewhat watery aftertaste. Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - MAY 8, 2004
Nice brown body with nice white head. The nose is lots of malts and caramel. The same is the flavor. In fact i find it too malty and sweet not enough hops to balance out the malts. JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - APR 29, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2004 (on bottle)A very plesant mouthfull that"should be enjoyed with friends" as the label reads. Only pulling 5,8 this is a beer that you actually CAN enjoy at any time, without having to take a nap(or a new beer)after. A hazy, lightbrown brew, with a very nice nut and caramelnose to it. The sherrytaste increases with the lenght of drinking. Apart from the other brews from Svaneke, this has no ugly yeast bitteraftertaste. Jeppe (2634) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - APR 10, 2004
Another nice beer from Svaneke Bryghus. But, they really should do something about the homogeneity of their beers, they all taste very much the same..... This one pours a dark amber body with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet of dark roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is also quite sweet at first but has a good bitter end. Malt, caramel and toffee and hops in the finish. Very soft and creamy.
