Almost no flavor. What it does not have in the smell, it have in the taste, however. It has great taste of hard roasted malt and light tones of English liquorice. Very tasty and incredibly good. VastActiv (7032) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2014
Bottle 0.5l from local Alko, Helsinki. Originally rated 20042012. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, chocolate and malts. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2013
Big offwhite cream head rises out of the glass. Hazy amber body with visible carbonation. Earthy orangey spicy aroma with blackberry notes. Dry-sweet herbal orangey spicy taste with mealy peppery notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy coriander and cedar wood aftertaste with orangey notes. Decent, but a bit odd, and somewhat boring. (0.3l draft at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen.) Braastad (459) - FINLAND - MAR 23, 2013
No much head and not so dark as expected. Aroma is bready, sweet.
Light and watery on mouth but not disturbingly. Chocolate. Better than the aroma would have you think. Erasmus_ro (2945) - Alabama, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a reddish dark brown with a small, latte-colored head. More of a ring of bubbles on the edges really. The very first whiff is strongly herbal. The next ones are roasted malt aromas: Caramel, semisweet coffee, roast, ground coffee beans, liquorice. Taste is roasted and coffee. Light mixed fruitiness there as well in the background. Palate is light with a lot of carbonation. A bit too much really.
