Brændt smag, som en porter plejer at smage. Krydderet, og godt humlet. God øl!

50 cl bottle. Rated on 16.11.2010
Dark brown colour, almost completely opaque. Beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, some berries typical to Danish ales, chocolate, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is sweet with burned malt and cocoa. Too roasted, but decent anyway.

Koelschtrinker (20388) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 5, 2011
9/12/11/13/12/12

Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a thin, wispy light tan head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel and chocolate with a touch of roasty malt and cookie dough. Starts with good fullness and sweet dark caramel maltiness and chocolate with nice smoky notes and good complexity before a slightly warming creamy finish with some lingering dark chocolate. A very nice Baltic Porter.
