COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 29, 2017
Draught at the brewery. Low fluffy light brown lasting head. Pitch black body. Mild and creamy roasted malt coffee liquorice aroma and flavor with just a hint of smoke. Fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation, long finish.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and very dark brown with a small, khaki head. The nose features components of pouch tobacco, either raw beef or warm perspiration – can’t quite pin it down – and a suggestion of caramel. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and faint carbonation. The flavor is burnt and moderately bitter, but well-balanced overall. A smooth-drinking beer with a hint of tobacco. Not crazy complex, just quite tasty and enjoyable. Bottle shipped my way by Plovmand!

Bałtycki porter na wędzonych słodach? Nie może być lepiej! Doskonale to piwo wygląda, czarne, oleiste z dużą obfitą pianą.

Humlenik (31) - DENMARK - AUG 22, 2013
Notes of caramel and roasty malt. It’s black with no head. The taste has a light sweetness and is lightly bitter but comes much stronger in the aftertaste. The body is light, the texture is oily and it has a long bitter finish. It feels good in the mouth. It’s a decent beer.

This is a pretty good porter. At first it is very drinkable and calls for more but after a while the aftertaste takes over with a strong taste of smoke and some bitterness

Dark malts, melasses. Black w small Brown head. Rather fresh and sour, syrup, rest is classic porter.

Ok porter. Quite mild of a porter, but of a long taste. Udemærket øl, men måske lidt for ordinær.

Very well made Baltic Porter from Svaneke with burnt flavors of tar, coffee and salty licorice. Almost a perfect porter simply.
