30cl from tap at Beer Palace, Oslo. Almost pitch black, but a reddish hue against the light. Beige head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, caramel, dark fruits and hints of alcohol and coffee. Medium body. Sweet and medium roasty with a balanced bitterness. Fairly long aftertaste with some bitterness.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, enormous and creamy beige head. Moderate roasty aroma with a hint of smoke / smoked meat. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is also moderately roasty, with some malty sweetness and hints of smoke.

0.5 l bottle from Copenhagen. Black color. Sweet and roasty aroma with coffee, salty licorice. Sweet and roasty flavor with salty licorice, charcoal and coffee with hint of smoke. Medium body. Reminds Gonzo imperial porter, which is not a bad thing.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Black beer with almost no foam. Sweet and roasted aroma with liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee and hops. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Flat carbonation. Long lasting sweet, roasted finish with lots of liquorice. Nice porter.

Bottle 50 cl. almost matt black in color with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, and hard toasted malt and some smoke and hints of licorice. And sweet and dry in flavor after hard roasted malt. em part smoke and licorice are repeated in the taste. Good and greasy texture with a long medium bitter end.
