Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a clear brownish color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma with some yeasty hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hints of yeast. Has a dry malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

The flavor is sweet with dried fruits, chocolate, some herbs and alcohol and a nice touch of pine cones. Full-bodied and rather dry. A pleasant dubbel with a nice chocolate twist. (090517)
