Pours a wonderful redish orange with a slight hazy. Impressive, creamy, off-white head. Great duration. Hoppy aroma, some pine, a little caramel, some grapefruit and oranges. Medium carbonation, fine and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit too sugary sweet at first, but the caramel feel takes over soon. Then it’s replaced by a fine, heavy hoppiness. Good dryness and lingering finish. Very drinkable.
Botella. Clear red amber colour with a nice beige looking head. Hoppy caramel malty pleasant aroma. Good lacing. Very good mouthfeel. The flavour is fresh and hoppy with fruits, good bitterness, citrus and caramel. Dry hoppy sweetish finish. Good quite hoppy amber ale. jesperhammer (4782) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2010
13-AUG-2010, bottle @home, from "Fakta".
Most beautifull orange with nice beige head.
Nose is first some charamelly ale-like stuff, but quickly the hops take over and grape fruit is dominant. Later on a slightly soapy note kicks in together wit yeast.
Taste is long and bitter, and I would happily drink this as an IPA. I am not a Svaneke fan, but this is fine. yespr (45702) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2009
50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to red with a huge, thick, lasting and light tan head. Aroma is sweet fruity, light yeasty and with a light biscuit note. Semi sweet fruity flavoured, light bitterness slowly taking over. Mild orange fruity too. Subdued malt presence. Slowly building bitterness into the far finish alongside a lasting fruity impression.

(on bottle) Rusty, light red, big white head. Hefty, dry and flowerish aroma from the old-world hops good start, the taste get´s even more powerfull and if it wasen´t for a surton sulphorish taste, it would be a great drink for the hot august days. Finish are rather yeasty and sweet.
