Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Hazy, deep amber body. Lightly brown head. Aroma of flowers, honey and sweet fine malts. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Ok balance, but not very complex. Ok but not sublime. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2007

Bottled(500ml). –Amber coloured, medium beige head, lively carbonation. Slight acidic honey nose. Nice roasted malty aroma with slight herbal and caramel notes. Mild bitter finish.
Bottled. Clear, copper-colored beer. Sweet aroma with malt and caramel. The flavor has caramel, malt and some hops. Medium body. Weak flavor and aroma, but nice after a bunch of boring lagers. (060929)

I think it’s this one... I hope it’s this one. It didn’t say anything about COOP on the bottle, but it’s set apart on the Svaneke site from the Mørk Guld, so... I’m guessing it’s this one.
We didn’t check what it was before we had it, and we were expecting some golden ale (no mørk on the front label, only in the commercial description on the one in the back of the bottle). Imagine our surprise then, when this poured a dark red/amber colour. It has a huge beige head (that left nice lacing), and plenty of carbonation. The nose is mainly malt, with hints of honey, green apples and dust. The taste is relatively thin, with a roastiness dominating, up to the weak(ish) bitter roasty finish. A fine, nice maltiness is there, but it’s quite light. A cute, drinkable beer.
Amber/copper with little white head. Spicy and malty aroma - caramel - little sweetness.. Thin texture. Easy bitter finish. WOW, a lot weaker than the regular mørk guld edition! Stefano (2048) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2006

Gyden pilsner, som minder meget om en alm.pilsner hvor derer blandet lidt karamel i.
