Bottle, 5.7%. Mild malty aroma, hint of hops, a bit like fresh chili. Hazy dark copper colour. Big tan head, quite stable. The flavour starts off malty, turning bitter with a slighty rough, but clean hoppiness. A bit like a bottle-conditioned, flavourful bitter. KingCecil (2087) - DENMARK - AUG 9, 2011

500ml bottle, source unknown, best before 11 May 2008, tasted in January 2010. Label said Hostbryg (one word) rather than Host Bryg. Orange colour. Fine condition. Some haze. Good herbal notes. Slightly sweet. Some caramel. Excellent balance. Very drinkable. Survived the accidental ageing rather well.
