COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: made in cooperation with the gourmet licorice producer "Lakrids by Johan Bülow".

500ml Bottle. The liquorice is a nice touch in this quality stout with some nice character. Liked it although one bottle was enough. For those special moments.

Foffern (1850) - Bodø, NORWAY - FEB 20, 2013
Bottle shared with (and great courtasy of) the Bergen Tasting Crew. Has a deep reddish brown colour and a beige medium head. Aroma of licorice, coffee, lactose, dark chocolate and prunes. Sweet milk stout-like flavour with licorice, wood, dried fruit, leather and dark chocolate in the end. Has a silky mouthfeel, and a light to medium bitterness. A beer that gets better for every sip. A good sweet stout with a nice touch of licorice.
