Pours hazy medium amber with medium fizzy head. Aroma is lemon, grass, straw, flowers, bit of earth, some banana and fruit, maybe honey and apple. Medium sweet, bitter aftertaste, light sour. Medium body, oily texture, soft-ish carbonation. Not so successful combo. hallinghansen (3411) - Odense SV, DENMARK - APR 26, 2017
Bottle at home. Hazy amber body with a medium white head. Aroma is light hops, citrus notes, notes of brett. If this was fresh, it would have been very good. Marstonlad (940) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 22, 2017
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours cloudy bronze with a big frothy head. The aroma displays fresh citrusy fruitiness, apple and earthy yeastiness with a touch of grainy maltiness lurking in the background. Seems to settle more in the region of saisons than IPAs. Taste is light to medium sweet initially, later becoming drier and slightly sour and tart. Light to medium bitterness, this is definitely a saison rather than an IPA. Flavours of lemon, orange, apple and grain with a Belgian yeasty touch. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth and average in carbonation. Very good but not much IPA here. A good one for Easter breakfasts (or other occasions).
