500 ml bottle. Thick creamish, lightly tanned head. Opaque, dark brown to near black body. Fairly dry cocoa/chocolate aroma. Whiffs of roast, coffee and licorice. Much the same flavorwise, more sweetness with chocolate dominating. Powdery texture, medium body. Chocolate finish. Very likeable. Egon (478) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2008

Smooth nice brew that do not hurt anybody, but it is indeed very comfortable in the soft way. Notes of roasted malt with coffee, chocolate and soft hops. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 21, 2008
Bottled. Very dark rubyish brown colour with big beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some berries, old coffee and chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malts, some dark dry fruits as well as mild hopping. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 20, 2008
Black colored, big beige head. Rich roasted and berryish porter aroma, some creamy-stoutish tone also present with mild chocolate. Fine aroma. Medium bodied, palate is also soft and creamy. Flavor starts with more chocolate and this same stoutish note dominating, aftertaste has drying hops with sticky chocolate. At blind tasting I would say this is stout, nice brew though. 50cl bottle. BB 03/08. Thanks Mads. My 500th Danish rating: Pours pitch black with a lovely creamy brown head. Aroma & taste is roasted malts - chocolate mainly. Silky smooth mouthfel with a tiny hint of smoke. So enjoyable & drinkable Porter! Pinball (12220) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 19, 2008
Nicely balanced Like the svaneke stout, but much more taste, and stronger, thus more interesting.
