Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Almost black, brief beige head. Earthy aroma. Sweet with concentrated flavour of coffee and dark chocolate. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel, some molasses hide in a distance. Bitter, almost inky finish.

Bottle at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Black colour, small brown head. Buttery aroma. Hint of cardboard, but good powerful flavour. Starts with roasted malts and gets a little sweet towards the finish. Has some sweet and salty liquorice and a very late roast coffee aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours almost black with a big bubbly brown head. Aroma is primarily roasted with nice dark chocolate tones. Nice round mouthfeel, not much carbonation, but lots of small bubbles. Flavour is equally nice, sweet, roasted, some dark chocolate again, finishing on a slight citric bitter note. Very well balanced. A very good porter.
