Bottle. Black colour with a big brown head. Corn in the good way, rye bread, roasted malt, chocolate aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish. Skinnyviking (9674) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2007
Bottle. Brown high creamy and lasting head. Black body, simply. Lovely strong coffee choccolate aroma. Relatively bitter coffee flavor with a long aftertaste. Feels as if it should have a bit more body. yespr (47041) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2007
50 cL bottle. Pours black with huge creamy and light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, faint notes of smoke and coffee with some sweetness and light yeastness. Taste is first dark roasted notes: malt and coffee with sweetness followed by refreshing then good bitter hops. End in a roasted bitter blend. Finish is dark and dry. Good and straight forward porter. I’m not able to identify classic Svaneke yeast notes that normally are distinct trademarks of their beers. sunevdj (4102) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2007
Pours black with a light brown head. Smells (nice) of toasted cereals. Medium sweetnes with some bitterness. Flavors of toasted cereals, chocolate and caramel with some BBQ notes. Caramel and bitter finish. Nice.
