Bottle. Dark brown with medium brown head. Aroma roasted malts. Taste roasted malts, some metallic and a little sour notes, not the moste pleasing.

On bottle @Kvickly Pours brown with thick beige foam. Well carbonated, watery taste at first, but with small amounts of hops. A little smokey notes, but a relative short finish.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks!
Pours clear dark reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting froothy beige head. Aroma of dry chocolate malt, some lactose, nuts. Taste of sweet and dark malt, chocolate, some vanilla and lactose, okay!

Aroma; roasted malts, chocolate, leafy mild hops, attic, meadow floral scents of faint spices. Look; dark brown body with red edge, cream-beige head. Taste; chocolate, roasted malts, grassy soft hops, malted candies, fresh dark prunes, nut - leading to a roasted malty finish with a hop twist. Feel; dry’ish, ok body. Overall; I enjoyed all 50cls...I recommend Svaneke to keep the recipe for this beer unchanged from 2016 and after. [50cl.btl 5%abv BB.29.09.16 [email protected] Middelfart Fyn(island) Denmark]

Thanks again to Bamsen78 ! A fine piwo which is really mild and balanced offering smooth and easy going aromas with malt, caramel, some nuts and a touch of hops. Easy to drink, relaxing one. Not bad.

Dark brown color with tiny beige head. Aroma is roasty and caramel. Taste is sweetish with roasty flauvour. The body is not as strong as in stout, but is well balanced, so I am not missing any more taste in it. Good experience, like Svaneke beers almost always are.

nybol (2347) - DENMARK - OCT 8, 2015
En mørk øl med noter af chokolade. Der er lidt mere chokolade i den end der normalt er i en dunkel.

Copenhagen 2/10 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. According to the label the winner of Kvickly Ølvalg competition in 2012. Apparantly a watered down stout. Pours clear dark copper brown with off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is chocolate, dark roasted malts and a little coffee bitterness. Soft carbonation and creamy palate. Taste is sweet with some chocolate but nicely balanced by coffee bitterness. Kind of like a refreshing stout - which sounds quite bizarre.

Fine White head with a read black head. Light liqurish, and light caramel aroma. Taste light bitter

Skinnyviking (9717) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2015
Bottle at home. Medium high creamy and lasting light brown head. Very dark brown body. Sweet roasted malt caramel cicioa chestnuts aroma. Smooth creamy quaffable roasted malt coffee flavor with a mild hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish. OK but a bit thinbodied.
