mikkopen (1164) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 9, 2009
500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy reddish orange colour, thin off-white head that leaves some lacing. Slightly sour malty aroma. The flavour is sweet, malty and alcoholic. The finish is warm, sticky and slightly bitter. Not bad, but not particularly good either.

janir (216) - Oulu, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2009
Deep coppery orange color with small very light brownish, a little lacy head. Sweet, roasty malty and metallic aroma. Flavor is Sweet, carmely malty with alcohol and some fruityness. Medium bodied, a bit stickly and smoothly carbonated palate.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 23, 2009
(Bottled) Hazy red-amber with a smallish, firm, mostly fading head. Aroma of roasted, sourish malt, and metal. Flavor of sweetish, caramely malt, some fusely alcohol, flowery yeastiness, and quite a bit of dark fruit. Medium, slightly thin body with soft carbonation. An original, distantly doppelbock- and bière de garde-like - but not that enjoyable brew. I wonder why the hell was this selected to Alko, when there are so many great micros in Denmark to choose from.

aphalo (94) - Turku, FINLAND - FEB 23, 2009
Bottle 500ml. Small cream-yellow head, reddish-copper colour. Mild aroma, mostly matls. Taste is mildish, sweet. Bitter, short aftertaste.

davidpl (435) - Santiago, CHILE - JAN 11, 2009
Thanks Omhper for this one. Appearance: dark amber color. Little head and beige. Aroma: malty and yeasty with toffee and cookies hints. Flavor: to caramel malts and yeast, mainly. Reminiscences of sponge cake, toffee and fruit esters. Palate: medium body. Remark: some oversweet without enough bitterness to balance this.

Pinball (12145) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2008
sourish, mushroomish strange aroma, also some sweetness, but mostly quite strange. Clear amber, small yellow head. flavor way better than aroma. sugar, malts, slight roasted grains, faint, faint sourish/flowerish flavor that might not have been intended, but so faint it’s sort of just an added spice to the overall experience. Not much like other bock beers i’ve tasted, but then the interpretations of that style seems to be quite varied.

tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2008
50 cl bottle at Skallerup Klit. Clear copper color, nice beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavor is sweet with caramel malt, dried fruit and some alcohol.

Bjarne (12) - , DENMARK - SEP 21, 2008
Moderate malty aroma. Appaers fine with a frothy off-white but not long lasting head. Color is amber/orange. Long duration of flavor is light sweet with a well balanced moderate bitterness. Nice medium/full creamy mouthfeeling with soft carbonation. Certainly a beer I will look around for.

xibalba89 (147) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 10, 2008
Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a decent head. The aroma is standard, with some zesty notes, but nothing out of the ordinary. The flavor is mainly malts, nothing to make note of. Doesn’t live up to it’s name.
